Josh & MaryLou

Josh and Marylou met in college, were married in 2011 and are currently living in Duluth, MN, where they are members at Salem Covenant Church. They both love volunteering with the youth group! Josh leads worship and Marylou heads up the mentoring program. They like to garden, hike, work on projects, and play with their two year old pup, Frankie Mae.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the middle of four brothers. My mother taught me to follow the Lord from a young age. I moved to Rapid City, South Dakota for college, where I got degrees in geology and paleontology. It was there that I met my wife, Katrina. In 2012, we moved to Duluth so Katrina could pursue a career in groundwater hydrology, and we quickly became involved with Salem Covenant Church.
I have lived in Duluth for 29 years with my husband. We have a daughter who is an RN in a hospital in Texas and a son who is a Manufacturing Engineer working at Cirrus Aircraft.

I became a Christian during my senior year of high school. I was involved in Youth for Christ. I resisted the need for Jesus. My friends loved me into the kingdom! I was part of a summer Bible Study that showed me what it meant to be a Christian. When I went to college at Drake University in Des Moines Iowa, I was discipled by a staff person from Campus Crusade and later by a staff member’s wife with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. I came to understand Lordship and what it meant to really give my whole life to Christ.   I went to many conferences and trainings with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and learned a lot about the Lord and leadership.I started attending Salem in 1986. I have been very involved in many areas. Most recently I have been working with our Youth. I love their energy, creativity, and love for the Lord!
